Culinary Pavilion Presented by Granddaddy's ultimate seasonings kicks things up a notch at the 19th annual Grapefest
Southwestern culinary legend Chef Dean Fearing is a featured guest chef at the 19th Annual GrapeFest. Fearing will provide a complimentary cooking demonstration at 3 p.m. followed by a book signing on Sunday, Sept. 11. 

The Culinary Pavilion presented by Granddaddy's Ultimate Seasonings features cooking demonstrations, wine and food pairing demonstrations, wine education and book signings. The Singing Chef, Andy LoRusso will uncork senses as he combines his passion for cooking and singing to give audiences a culinary experience that is tempting to the taste buds and pleasing to the ears 

Other celebrity chefs who will kick things up a notch include Sheela Kadam, who will uncork her spice jars and send the sensuous and delicious aromas of curry wafting down Main Street; Tinku Saini Executive Chef for the Clay Pit; Brandon the Cherry Chef, from Traverse City, Michigan's National Cherry Festival; and Candice Hunter, owner of Grapevine's new cheese shop, Gourmet Concepts.

Festival hours are Sept. 8, 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.; Sept. 9, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; Sept. 10, 10 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.; and Sept. 11, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. FREE gate admission from 11 a.m. on Thursday until 5 p.m. on Friday. Admission - Friday at 5 p.m. through Sunday at 6 p.m. is: Teenagers and Adults - $6; Seniors (62+) and Children (6-12) - $3; Children under 5 - Free; Weekend Pass - $10; Souvenir Pin - $15; Family rate - $15.

GrapeFest is the largest wine festival in the U.S. outside of the Napa and Sonoma region. GrapeFest is named as "One of the Top 100 Events in North America" by the American Bus Association, and is listed as a "Top 20 Wine Event in the Nation," in Wine Tasting and Touring magazine's Fall 2005 issue. Festival proceeds support the Grapevine Heritage Foundation.
