Big Citrine Burglary in Colleyville..
3/17/04 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, Not a Forced Entry. Astonishingly, a 2001 Suburban was parked in the driveway of the residence at 304 Stonington Lane, left unlocked and a black backpack was stolen during the night. Here is the list of the items in the $100 backpack: pearl necklace ($5500), pearl and diamond ring ($750), pearl bracelet ($500), gold and citrine ring ($400), silver and citrine necklace ($120), multi-stone citrine earrings ($90), citrine bracelet ($250), and $60 in cash. Crime reporter knows what you are asking yourselves-besides the obvious question-what exactly IS citrine? Send us an email and let us know!

3/22/04 Stolen yard art in the form of a carved stone, from 1717 Glade Road, by unknown person(s). The stone had the family's name carved into it. Unless the thief is named "Trimble," the value on the rock would have to be sentimental.

3/21/04 Burglary of a Building, Forced Entry, at the Healthy Approach store, 5100 Hwy. 121 South. Two white males broke the exterior lock, entered the business, and then broke a locked security gate to get into the Pharmacy. Stolen was a plastic pint container of Tussionex (Hydrocodone) and 2 vials of Solumedrol, which is listed as a non-steroid, anti-inflammatory medication.

3/21/04 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, no signs of Forced Entry, from a Dallas resident while the vehicle was parked at 3513 Blue Quail Lane. Stolen items are listed as a hardball racquet ($65), 20 CDs ($160), bag ($45), Rio MP3 player ($150), Kenneth Cole watch ($40), checkbook, household keys with a security gate card attached, and miscellaneous credit card receipts.

3/10/04 - 3/24/04 Theft from storage yard of building at 1904 Industrial Boulevard, offices of LocalNewsOnly. Taken were 2 Soldiers made of black rebar wrapped in Christmas lights ($1500), Airplane made of the same material wrapped in lights ($1200), Halloween Witch and Easter Bunny, also made of black rebar, wrapped in Mini-lights ($600 each), and a Hot Air Balloon, same construction, same lights ($1800). Doesn't look like there will be Christmas decorations at the office this year!

3/19/04 Information report. Abandoned vehicle towed from 5109 Bransford Road, Kidsville area of the parking lot of City Park. Complainant's son, from the 1300 block of Bellefonte Lane, had wrecked the vehicle and both father and son had left the lot when the vehicle was removed.

3/22/04 Dog running loose reported at 1113 Nueces Court.

3/21/04 Found purse at DFW Airport was returned to a resident of 2901 Summertree Lane. DFW police turned the bluish gray bag over to the Colleyville PD, who located the owner. Still inside the purse was $6.05 cash, a checkbook and other miscellaneous items.

3/18/04 Identity Theft, from a resident of 1002 Lakeridge Court. Unknown person(s) opened an account with Verizon using complainant's personal information.

3/16/04 Burglary of a Motor Vehicle, 3501 Blue Quail Lane. Complainant reported unknown person(s) removed property from her vehicle without her consent. Books, CD player Gameboy Advance, and a dog collar with leash were taken; valued at $397.

3/07/04 Criminal Mischief at both 4701 Jim Mitchell Trail, West and 3000 Meadowview Court to the same family, same night. Suspect(s) egged the complainant's gray Chevrolet Tahoe windshield and hood ($312.90) and also his daughter's vehicle at the other address on the passenger door and right rear quarter-panel ($656.03).

3/18/04 Forgery complaint from a woman who advised her estranged husband forged her name on an application for a home equity loan. Woman lists a Grapevine address as her home currently, but the house in question is in Colleyville.
